I grew up in a small community outside Montgomery, Alabama, called Snowdoun. I enlisted in the USAF in 1983, got out in 1988, and have been working as a civilian in the same job I had in the Air Force--Jet Engine Mechanic--at Columbus AFB, MS. I'm 50 and have 3 older sisters, all living in Alabama.
I attend Woodland Baptist Church in Columbus, where I joined in 1983. I sing alto in the choir and also sing solos and ensembles. My dearest friend (after the Lord Jesus) is Elena, who was born in Gibraltar, and lived in England as a little girl during WWII. Elena was the music director when I first joined Woodland and she is the one who encouraged me to use my voice for God's glory. I love to sing His praises!
